박근혜, 새누리당 18대 대통령후보 확정
새누리당은 20일 오후 박근혜 전 당위원장을 국민과 당원의 압도적인 지지로 18대 대선후보로 결정했다.
19일 국민참여 투표와 여론조사 합산방식에 의해 진행한 대선후보 결정에 따르면 전체 8만2582명이 참가한 투표에서 임태희 후보는 2341, 박근혜 7만1176, 김태호 2116, 안상수 739, 김문수 5622표를 획득했다.
여론조사에서는 임태희, 박근혜, 김태호, 안상수, 김문수 후보가 각각 1.6%, 74.7%, 3.3%, 4.2%, 16.2%를 얻었다.
투표와 여론조사를 합한 합계투표 수는 각각 2676, 8만6589, 3298, 1600, 8955표를 획득해 새누리당은 대한민국 헌정사상 최초의 여성후보자를 배출했다.
박근혜 후보는 후보수락연설에서 이념과 계층, 산업화의 시대에 국민대통합의 시대를 열어갈 것과 친인척 비리감찰, 권력형, 공천비리 연루자를 엄정히 다룰 것을 약속하며 국정운영의 패러다임을 국가에서 국민중심의 원스톱 맞춤형으로 경제민주화와 일자리 창출, 국민행복의 시대를 열어갈 것을 천명했다.

Seoul, South Korea (CNN) -- South Korea's ruling Saenuri Party overwhelmingly selected Park Geun-hye as its presidential candidate, during its political convention on Monday.
If elected, Park -- the first woman ever nominated by the party, and the daughter of the country's former dictator -- would become the country's first-ever female president.
Park won the support of her party, running on a campaign of creating "a country where no-one is left behind." Park has said she will focus on welfare policies if she is elected in December and will engage with North Korea if Pyongyang abandons its nuclear weapons program.
Park hopes to unite a country that the legacy of her father, the late Park Chung-hee, still divides.
The dictator was behind the rapid economic growth of South Korea during the 1960s, following the Korean War which lasted from 1950-1953 and devastated the peninsula. Supporters say he economically transformed the country, but critics say he disregarded democracy to do so and committed human rights abuses.
Park was assassinated by his security chief in 1979.
Park Geun-hye lost to the current President Lee Myung-bak in the party's last primary in 2007. Lee can only stand for one term under South Korean law.

韓国 各候補が対日強硬姿勢の可能性

韓国では、日韓関係の悪化がことし１２月の大統領選挙にも影響を及ぼし、与党・セヌリ党のパク・クネ元代表を含む各候補が、日本に対して強硬な姿勢を打ち出していく可能性があるという見方が広がっています。
韓国の有力紙「韓国日報」のイ・ゲソン首席論説委員は、今回の大統領選挙でも、悪化した日韓関係が取り上げられる可能性があると分析したうえで、韓国の国民が日本の過去に厳しい目を向けるなか、パク・クネ元代表の父親のパク・チョンヒ元大統領が、植民地支配の時代に旧日本軍の陸軍士官学校で教育を受けたことなどにも反発が広がり、選挙ではパク・クネ氏に不利に働くという見方を示しました。
そのうえで、イ・ゲソン論説委員は、選挙に向けてパク・クネ氏を含む各候補が競うように日本に対する強硬な姿勢を打ち出していく可能性があり、来年２月に発足する次の政権の対日政策も、影響は免れないだろうと話しています。
